A renowned restaurant for flavorful Shinshu soba

One of the Shinanoji chain with numerous locations in Wakayama Prefecture, Shinanoji Akiba boasts rich-flavored soba and dashi. The tranquil interior, designed like a traditional farmhouse, allows guests to fully enjoy soba, udon, and rice bowls. A particular charm of Shinanoji Akiba is the opportunity to savor their carefully crafted soba while taking in the view of Akihayama from the window.

In a space with a Japanese taste, you can enjoy your meal slowly. There are tatami seating and chairs for children, which is reassuring. The soba is fragrant and thin, with a smooth and pleasant texture. The way to eat it with a raw egg mixed into the dipping sauce is mild and interesting. The freshly fried tempura has a light batter, and the shrimp, eggplant, and shishito peppers are crispy and satisfying. There is a parking lot that is easy to park in even if you come by car, allowing for a leisurely time.
