A Specialty Chicken Restaurant to Savor the Freshness of Morning-Caught Chicken

Saikouchou is renowned for its chicken sashimi and yakitori that highlight the freshness and flavor unique to morning-caught chicken. The diverse sashimi, including rare cuts, is free of any gamey taste and boasts a plump texture, enhanced by sesame oil and salt that bring out its sweetness. The menu also features expertly grilled yakitori and a variety of chicken dishes. The recently renovated interior includes counter seating and sunken kotatsu tables, providing a calm atmosphere for a leisurely dining experience.

I ordered a platter of chicken sashimi, and the meat was moist with a very good flavor. The differences in texture between the various parts were enjoyable, and eating it with sesame oil and salt enhanced the deliciousness even more. The grilled chicken had a nice aroma, and the cooking was just right, which made me satisfied. A dish with garlic was particularly impressive and had a lingering deliciousness. There were parts that are not often seen elsewhere, and the selection of appetizers like salads and skewered cutlets was abundant, making it hard to stop eating any of them. To top it off, I also enjoyed chicken hot pot, and I was in a good mood throughout the entire experience.
