It is just a short walk from the station, and the calm atmosphere reminiscent of a traditional Japanese house is very pleasant. Inside the shop, where you can feel the warmth of wood, you are welcomed with care, which makes you feel at ease. The hand-made soba, ground with a stone mill, has uniform noodles with a wonderful aroma that goes down smoothly. The soba sashimi looks like yuba, and it pairs well with white leek and wasabi soy sauce, allowing the flavor of the soba to come through strongly. The wariko soba lets you enjoy variations in taste with condiments, and there are instructions on how to eat it, so you won't be confused. The fluffy soba dumplings also have a gentle texture, making for a very satisfying experience.
