A guesthouse where you can fully enjoy the charm of Aso

Minpaku Asogen is a lodging located at the foot of Mount Aso. The dinners, made with plenty of fresh local ingredients, are all exquisite and generously portioned. The open and inviting atmosphere of the bath and the interaction with the owner are also highlights. It's a place where you can spend a pleasant time surrounded by beautiful nature.

Located at the foot of Aso, it is beautiful and spacious like an inn. The dinner is plentiful, with satisfying flavors in dishes such as hot pot, sashimi, and chawanmushi. In particular, the local pork and vegetable hot pot has a rich broth, and the sweetness of the cabbage is impressive. The grilled red beef is hearty, and the flavor expands with each bite, making it the best. The horse sashimi and tempura are also delicious, and you can thoroughly enjoy breakfast as well. The bath has a sense of openness and feels great, relieving the fatigue of travel.
