The tempura, fried to a crisp, is fragrant and very satisfying. The oyster tempura, in particular, is impressive, with a crunchy exterior and juicy interior. The sauce for the rice bowl is mild, allowing the flavor of the conger eel to shine through. The red miso soup also has a strong presence and pairs well with the tempura. The atmosphere in the restaurant is lively, and the skillful handling of the young staff at the frying station is pleasant to watch. After the meal, the refreshing flavor of the Dekopon grown on the premises spreads, providing a sense of comfort.
