As you pass through the noren (fabric divider), a calm atmosphere reminiscent of old times spreads out. There is a warm wooden counter and tatami rooms where you can comfortably settle down. You can quietly enjoy your meal while watching the craftsman's movements right in front of you. The sushi is impressive, with the toppings being substantial and pairing well with the slightly smaller rice. The akagai (red clam) and scallops are freshly prepared just before serving, making them very fresh and delicious. The soup has a rich shrimp broth, and its gentle umami lingers on.
