Classic Café in a Mountain Lodge Style Embraced by a Large Camphor Tree

Established in 1979, this charming café is marked by its brick-built mountain lodge and a camphor tree over 200 years old. Inside, guests are enveloped in the warmth of wood while classical music plays, and the loft-style second floor offers a panoramic view of the surroundings. The siphon-brewed coffee made from freshly ground beans is renowned for its deep bitterness and elegant aroma, and the extensive menu featuring cakes, hot sandwiches, and parfaits adds to its appeal.

The exterior, wrapped in trees, is impressive, and the interior has a retro and calming atmosphere. The staff's response is gentle, allowing you to relax just by sitting down. Smoking and non-smoking areas are separated by floor, making it comfortable to use. The original hon-kuzu coffee blends the thick kuzuko with hot coffee, and when mixed with the cream on top, it creates a rich flavor. The parfait, finished with coffee poured right in front of you, has a fragrant aroma, and when combined with the ice cream, it has a delightful Viennese style. The dessert, a rare cheesecake, is smooth, and the moistness of the sponge cake was pleasant.
