A restaurant where you can enjoy Shinshu's local cuisine featuring lamb

Banraku is a rare establishment where you can savor the local dish 'romen,' beloved in the southern Shinshu region. What sets it apart is the ability to season it to your liking, with options like garlic juice, sesame oil, and vinegar available. Additionally, their unique cooking methods enhance the flavor of the meat. Despite being a new establishment, it offers a charm rooted in the region's traditions.

Upon entering the restaurant, the red lanterns and thunder pattern decorations catch the eye, creating a slightly exotic atmosphere while still being casual. The specialty, ramen, combines steamed noodles and lamb, and it's interesting that you can customize the flavor by adding sauces and garlic oil from the table. The chewy noodles and the crunch of the cabbage are pleasant, and before I knew it, my bowl was empty. The fragrant grilled dumplings are mainly vegetable-based and have a light aftertaste, making it easy to eat several. You can also choose light yakisoba or fried rice, allowing you to enjoy according to your mood that day. With warm service and a calm seasoning, I thought it was a place I would want to visit regularly.
