There are both counter seats and tatami mat seating, allowing for a relaxed dining experience. Each piece of sushi is substantial, and the freshness of the ingredients is clearly felt. In particular, the sea urchin is creamy, and the shellfish is sweet, which is delightful. The soba noodles have a good flavor, and the grated daikon dipping sauce pairs perfectly. The grilled sea bream head and yudofu (tofu hot pot) are also delicious, making it hard to put down the chopsticks. The service is warm, and the atmosphere conveys a sense of familiarity with the local patrons.
