A Modern Soba Restaurant to Enjoy Fresh Soba

Soba Dokoro Kyogoku is a popular soba restaurant that has been rebuilt after the earthquake. The soba, made with seaweed, is fresh and has a smooth texture that pairs perfectly with the rich dipping sauce. The tempura is also served piping hot, with the shrimp being particularly tender and appealing. Located near the sea, guests can enjoy fresh soba while taking in the beautiful scenery.

The interior is sleek and modern, and the moment you step in, your mood lifts. The cold soba is firm and has a pleasant texture that allows it to be eaten smoothly. The noodles have a slightly greenish hue, are glossy, and have a chewy bite, with a flavor reminiscent of seaweed. The dipping sauce has a sharp taste, and when you dissolve the wasabi on top of the cucumber at the end, the aroma spreads and is irresistible. The large serving is mountainous in volume, and even the mini rice bowl that comes with the set is small yet very satisfying. The tempura in the tempura soba is soft shrimp, and the vegetables are crispy and light, making it feel like a bowl that makes you want to gaze at the sea.

The exterior is modern and the atmosphere is lovely. The soba is cold and firm, sliding smoothly down the throat, and pairs well with the rich dipping sauce. The slightly greenish noodles are glossy and have an impressive chewy texture. In addition to zaru and tempura zaru, you can also choose a combination of soba and a mini rice bowl, which is exciting. The portions are generous, with the special and large servings piled high like a mountain, providing a sense of satisfaction. When you add the wasabi on the cucumber to the dipping sauce at the end, it refreshingly brings everything together.
