Enjoy authentic smoked dishes in a homely atmosphere

Kamiokafumiko offers heartwarming hospitality and authentic smoked products in a homely atmosphere. The smoked dishes made with local fresh ingredients are excellent as both standalone items and accompaniments to drinks. The warm personality of the owner's family is also charming, making it a place you'll want to visit again. Be sure to stop by when you're in the Kamioka area.

It has the appearance of a private house, but once you enter, the scent of cherry wood chips spreads gently, creating a sense of excitement. The signature product, smoked miso, has a perfect balance of savory flavor and gentle saltiness, making it enjoyable on its own or mixed into dishes. The thickly sliced ham is juicy, and when lightly grilled, the smoky aroma becomes even more pronounced and irresistible. There are also options like gizzards and duck breast, which are perfect companions for drinks. The packaging is vacuum-sealed and done with care, so you can still enjoy the freshly made flavor when you get home. Conversations with the cheerful ladies were also enjoyable, and I left the shop with a warm feeling.
