Jajangmyeon is a noodle dish that can be said to represent Korean-style Chinese cuisine. It is pronounced 'Chajangmyeon' in Korean. The dish consists of pork, onions, and other ingredients stir-fried with a black bean paste called 'chunjang', and a sauce thickened with water-dissolved potato starch is poured over the noodles. It has a slightly unique, savory sweet and spicy flavor, and is a menu item loved by people of all ages, from children to adults.

The popular dish in Korea known as 'Ganjangsaeu' means 'Ganjang = Soy Sauce' and 'Saeu = Shrimp', which is called 'Shrimp marinated in soy sauce'. It is the shrimp version of Ganjang Gejang! The flavor of soy sauce is well absorbed into the shrimp meat, and its firm and plump texture is popular.
