A homey restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and exquisite cuisine

Sun Catcher is a homey restaurant that is becoming a staple in Oiso. Originally a popular spot in Hatagaya, it has relocated to this warm and inviting setting where you can enjoy delicious dishes made with care. The heartwarming hospitality and the chewy pizzas baked in a wood-fired oven are particularly well-regarded, featuring exquisite menu items that are hard to find in Tokyo.

It is located within walking distance from the station and is a warm space renovated from a house. Upon entering, you will find tastefully arranged interiors that allow for a calm and relaxing experience. The pizza, baked in a kiln, is fragrant with a chewy crust that makes it hard to stop eating. The pasta and meat dishes are also highly satisfying, and the appetizers and soups made with plenty of local fish, whitebait, and vegetables are impressive. Even the desserts are carefully prepared, and when paired with wine, it creates an even happier time. The number of seats is modest, and private rooms are available, making it delightful to savor the experience quietly and at a leisurely pace.

The interior, which makes use of a traditional house, has great taste and lifts your spirits the moment you open the door. It's within walking distance from the station, and the quiet atmosphere is very pleasant. The course starts with soup, followed by colorful appetizers, wood-fired pizza and pasta, and ends with a well-balanced meat dish. The local fish and vegetables, homemade bottarga, and arrabbiata with angel shrimp were particularly impressive. When paired with fragrant wine, the quality of the dishes is further enhanced. The warm hospitality allowed for a relaxed experience, making it a special time.
