Tamago-ya is a hidden gem in Miyako Island, featuring a bright and calming ambiance. Loved by both local regulars and tourists, this establishment offers delightful homemade cuisine. The fluffy omelet and the uniquely original curry are particularly exquisite. Additionally, the interior has a stylish café vibe, adorned with various Miyako Island trinkets, creating a cozy and inviting space.

In a cozy atmosphere, the attentiveness of the staff is pleasant. The Japanese-style island tofu soup curry, which won a grand prize, had a delicious broth with a subtle spread of spices that was superb. The large island tofu's thickness and the soft vegetables blended well with the soup, making it easy to enjoy even the vermicelli. The fluffy and creamy omelet fried rice also uses Okinawa soba noodles, and whether it's the sauce flavor or the salt garlic flavor, it never gets boring until the end. Enjoying the egg omelet in the style of Akashi-yaki with the soup makes me happy as the aroma of the broth seeps into my body. The seasoned rice and the mini salad with carrot dressing are also carefully made, and I can feel the love of the restaurant in each dish.
