A soba restaurant where you can enjoy fragrant Hitachi Aki soba

Shouan is a restaurant proud of its stone-ground, coarsely milled hand-made soba. Focusing on Hitachi Aki soba, it uses carefully selected domestic ingredients to serve freshly ground, freshly made, and freshly boiled soba. The tempura, in particular, is fried in cottonseed oil, offering a light and crispy texture. It's a place where you can savor aromatic and flavorful soba in a pleasant atmosphere.

It is comfortable and relaxing. The 100% buckwheat zaru soba is slightly green and fresh, with a pleasant aroma of Hitachi Aki soba. The condiments are wasabi and green onions, which convey the flavor of the soba well. The tempura includes shrimp, whiting, and a variety of vegetables, and it's nice that the dipping sauce is warm. The proud anago tempura zaru is also delicious, and the portion is satisfying. The fried octopus is freshly fried and flavorful, and I was able to enjoy my meal while tasting two types of tea.
