The calm store appearance and the sight of the craftsman's nimble hands from the L-shaped counter lift my spirits. The interior is clean, and it often gets crowded, so it's reassuring to reserve a seat. The first small dish was boiled octopus with grated daikon, which had a soft and pleasant texture. The mixed dish of myoga and cucumber, the crispy outside and smooth inside thick fried tofu, and the small pot of scallops with a hint of cheese were all delicious. I enjoyed nigiri sushi with flounder, medium fatty tuna, red clam, kohada, and green onion, and I was delighted by the careful craftsmanship. The hearty chirashi sushi and the miso soup with fried tofu and watercress also left a memorable taste.
