A hidden gem izakaya with exquisite dishes

Noyaki Kitasenju is a charming izakaya quietly nestled in the back alleys of Kitasenju. The red lanterns create a warm, nostalgic atmosphere, and once you step inside, you are overwhelmed by its deep ambiance and high-quality dishes. In particular, the lightly seared Ooyama chicken and grilled offal are exceptional, and the diverse skewers pair perfectly with drinks. The comfortable, unpretentious vibe and excellent cost performance are reasons why it is beloved by many.

This is a popular tavern located just a short walk from the station, marked by a red lantern. The interior, lined with wooden tables and counters, has a pleasant liveliness, making it comfortable for both individuals and groups. The skewers topped with a mountain of green onions on the liver are free of any unpleasant odor, and their tenderness and aroma make it hard to stop eating. The lightly seared Ohyama chicken is moist and juicy, and when paired with ginger, its umami flavor is enhanced. The grilled pork heart and white meat are cooked to perfection, with a plump texture and rich flavor that pairs perfectly with beer. If you also order pickled shallots or raw beef tripe as snacks, the delightful crunch of the different textures will make you want to linger longer.
