Savor exquisite motsuyaki at a renowned restaurant filled with Showa-era charm

Motsuyaki Fuji, established in 1975, is a traditional izakaya beloved by locals and visiting salarymen alike. The freshly grilled cartilage and tongue, along with the meticulously prepared motsu stew, are exceptional, characterized by their heartwarming flavors. Now run by the second generation, this establishment welcomes customers with a friendly atmosphere while continuing to offer nostalgic tastes reminiscent of the Showa era.

The atmosphere is casual and warm, attracting regular customers. The menu is displayed on the walls and counter, making it easy to choose. The white Hoppy comes with lemon, making it refreshing to drink. The grilled items are served in the order they are finished, with a good balance of aroma and saltiness. The tongue and cartilage have a nice texture, and the meatballs are fluffy. The offal stew is carefully prepared and full of flavor, and the chicken sashimi can be enjoyed plain at first, but mixing it with egg later adds an enjoyable change in taste.
