I am always happy to see the pickles that come out first, and the saltiness of the cucumbers is just right. The soba has a wonderful aroma, and it is smooth and satisfying whether it is cold or warm. The soba topped with tempura has shrimp and lotus root that are perfectly crispy, providing the best texture. There is also a style where you dip the cold noodles into warm broth, and adding a little shrimp oil enhances the aroma significantly. The portion size is generous, and even the half size comes with several pieces of tempura, leaving you satisfied. It also includes small side dishes and dessert, and I was happy to enjoy shaved ice after the meal.
