A heartwarming sushi restaurant that feels traditional

Sushi Kotobuki is a community-rooted sushi shop that welcomes visitors with friendly and warm service. Inside the restaurant, skilled chefs prepare nigiri sushi with care, serving it directly on a serving board in a unique style that offers fresh surprises with each visit. The particularly tender simmered anago (conger eel) is exquisite, with a delightful texture that melts in your mouth.

The atmosphere is calm with a focus on the counter, and there are tatami rooms where you can relax. Upon entering, you are greeted with a warm welcome, making for a pleasant experience. The sushi is served directly on the counter's board, and it comes out gradually, which is enjoyable. Tuna, sea urchin, shrimp, eel, and tekka maki are served, with the toppings being thick and the rice fluffy with a gentle vinegar flavor. In particular, the simmered eel is soft, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture, and the sweet soy sauce adds a nice accent. The soup, which has the umami of the shrimp, is also delicious, and it's convenient to stop by even when driving.
