I went there for the first time in a while. The food was delicious before, and this time it was delicious without any complaints as well. However, during the service, the menu was thrown at me, which was a bit excessive, so I deducted one star for that. It's a shame because both the food and the atmosphere are very good.

Even on a weekday lunch, the seats were fully booked with reservations. For lunch, the pasta could be chosen between tomato sauce or peperoncino, and I went with the tomato sauce. The appetizer was a large plate filled with various items, and I was very satisfied. Both the pasta and the dessert pudding were delicious.

C'est un restaurant nommé 'Restaurant de la forêt', parfait pour la saison des jeunes feuilles. Les places en terrasse ont aussi une très bonne ambiance.

They came to take our orders in the order we entered the restaurant. We had the A set with six varieties. Each dish was carefully plated, and the taste was very delicious. The fish was exceptionally good. I particularly liked the flavor of the red turnip and carrot. Also... the pudding was super delicious. I will go again.

I thought that having various types of delicious dishes served in small portions on one plate, along with a salad, drink, and dessert for this price is quite rare. I'm glad I made a reservation because you can't get in right away without one.

Since it was during Golden Week, we made reservations first thing in the afternoon. At first, there were a couple of groups, but before 12:00, there was a waiting list! We chose the "well balanced" course. We were able to spend a relaxing time in the old Karuizawa-like atmosphere while tasting rare ingredients that we don't usually eat. I would like to go there again when I have a chance!
