Located on Harusame Street in Nagasaki, this cozy izakaya features only counter seating. The fresh whale sashimi and a variety of dipping sauces for the popular kushiage (deep-fried skewers) are particularly well-loved, allowing you to savor the rich local flavors. Near Shianbashi, it's a comfortable spot where you can enjoy warm moments like being with family.

It's a small shop with only a counter, but it has a very relaxing atmosphere. The specialty whale sashimi platter has distinct textures and flavors for each part, making it easy to enjoy with a drink. There are many types of skewered fried foods and home-style snacks, allowing for a leisurely experience while changing up the flavors. The owner and the landlady are friendly and approachable, making it easy to relax even for first-time visitors. The warmth of the place, which is popular with local regulars, truly reflects the charm of a Nagasaki izakaya. Despite having few seats, it is comfortable enough that I lost track of time and felt completely satisfied.
