A newly opened authentic Chinese restaurant in Akita City

Eihou is a Chinese restaurant that opened in August this year in the basement of the Higashi Kan Building, located next to the Akita Prefectural Government's second office. The dishes crafted by the former head chef of the Tenten Restaurant offer a wide menu and a satisfying experience. With juicy fried chicken and aromatic mapo tofu, each dish boasts an appealing flavor, allowing you to enjoy a diverse range of Chinese cuisine.

When you enter the basement floor of the building, you are greeted by a bright counter and tables. The air is well-ventilated and cool, allowing you to relax immediately. The lunch set of noodles and fried rice is plentiful in ingredients, and both are satisfying to eat. The shrimp chili features plump shrimp coated in a perfectly sweet and spicy sauce, which brought a smile to my face. The fried chicken and stir-fried chili dish has a wonderful combination of savory and spicy flavors that made it hard to stop eating. Thanks to the friendly service and attentive care from the staff, I was able to enjoy my meal comfortably until the end.
