A restaurant where you can enjoy authentic pork rice bowls and Genghis Khan

Located in Okinawa City, Kamara, Tontan is a restaurant where you can enjoy delicious pork rice bowls originating from Obihiro, Hokkaido, grilled over charcoal. The secret sauce beautifully coats the tender pork, and the careful charcoal grilling reduces excess fat, allowing for a healthier taste. During dinner, they also offer Obihiro Genghis Khan and various side dishes, making it a rare spot to savor the flavors of Hokkaido in Okinawa.

The aroma of charcoal spreads gently, making the pork bowl very impressive. It's delightful to be able to choose from shoulder loin, belly, or a mix according to your preference. The sweet sauce clings well to the nicely grilled meat, making the rice go down easily. The generous serving of shredded cabbage as a side dish serves as a palate cleanser in between bites. There is also rice for seconds and extra sauce available, allowing for an enjoyable meal until the end. The charm of being able to casually enjoy the flavors of Obihiro, Hokkaido, in Okinawa is also appealing.
