A restaurant where you can enjoy Oita's famous tori ten

Tori Ten Katsuya is a specialty shop for tori ten located in Mukuhara-oki, Oita City, Oita Prefecture. Here, you can savor a rich variety of tori ten, ranging from simple flavors to unique variations that highlight the aroma of aonori (seaweed). The flavor of aonori particularly enhances the deliciousness of the chicken, making it a perfect accompaniment to rice. It pairs exceptionally well with chicken rice, offering a homestyle taste that is highly recommended.

I was very satisfied to enjoy various types of the specialty chicken tempura. They offer three kinds: the classic, aonori (seaweed), and sweet vinegar, making it fun to compare them. The chicken tempura has a juicy texture and can be enjoyed refreshingly with ponzu sauce. The fried chicken has a strong garlic aroma that whets the appetite. The chicken rice is flavorful and has a strong presence of chicken, providing a sense of satisfaction. The umami of the chicken stands out throughout, making a home meal feel a little special.
