Nestled in the Nishijin shopping district, 'Ton Ton Kitchen' is a specialist in okonomiyaki and teppanyaki that has been serving its traditional flavors for 65 years. The modern-style okonomiyaki, made with hand-cut cabbage and Fukuoka-produced eggs, features a fluffy, thick batter layered with yakisoba, creating a fragrant dish that is enhanced by their special sauce. Grilled chicken skewers and fluffy tsukune (chicken meatballs) cooked over charcoal are also popular, with a slightly sweet sauce that brings out the natural flavors of the ingredients. The calm interior is equipped with both counter and table seating, providing a welcoming atmosphere for individuals and groups alike.
