The style of ordering and paying at the counter is easy to understand and reassuring. The food arrived faster than expected, allowing us to enjoy it leisurely even in between movements. The grilled eel rice box had a perfect balance of sauce, and it paired excellently with the rice. The eel, grilled to a fragrant crisp, was firm and satisfying to eat. There were several small dishes, such as miso soup with tofu and seasoned bean sprouts, which kept the meal enjoyable until the end. I was also pleased to be able to choose tea or coffee at the self-service drink corner, making for a highly satisfying lunch.
