At the deli section of the department store, it's fun to choose from salads and fried foods. The bulk salad is beautifully colorful, and the strawberry and raspberry dressing is refreshing and aromatic. The Hokkaido Danshaku croquette is thick, stays crispy even when cold, is not greasy, and has a strong sweetness from the potatoes. The chicken and potato cheese bake is also satisfying and a dish that's hard to replicate at home. The fig salad combines the perfect acidity and slight sweetness of the special dressing, and the lettuce is fresh, making it very delicious. The cool, moist texture of the figs, chilled with ice packs, was very pleasant.
