I visited Kuwana for the first time in many years and had lunch at Izenokoku Shokudo Shichiri. I ordered the Kaisen Tendon, Ooebi Ten Toshi-don, and Kuwana Clam Ten Bala Nori Udon, all of which were delicious. The taste of the dashi broth was especially excellent. The satisfying ooebi (giant shrimp) and the variety of seafood ingredients were also wonderful. You can also get take-out, so I bought some for my family as souvenirs. I visited the restaurant around 2:00 p.m. on a weekday, and it was almost fully booked, which is convenient because the restaurant is open all day. I would like to try the evening menu next time.
