This is a restaurant where vegetables take center stage, and the aroma of charcoal wafts through the air. The grilled vegetables, such as shiitake mushrooms, eggplant, and sweet potatoes, are all rich in flavor, and it's fun to choose your favorites to create a platter. The steamed vegetables enhance their sweetness, with the flavor of the carrots particularly memorable. The chicken tenderloin is moist and it's great that you can discuss the level of doneness. The dashimaki tamago (Japanese rolled omelette), shrimp, and fresh spring rolls and tacos filled with plenty of vegetables each have their own unique character and are satisfying. Sake, homemade sour drinks, and a refreshing lemon drink with pink pepper pair well with the dishes.
