Today, I sat at the counter and ordered a lunch sushi set. The selection was colorful, featuring lean tuna, steamed shrimp, marinated horse mackerel, and red clam, all of which were very fresh. The melt-in-your-mouth fatty tuna was particularly rich in flavor, making me smile involuntarily. The fluffy rice and the carefully rolled gourd strips, along with the gently sweet egg, paired perfectly. The time spent chatting with the chef was warm, and it was impressive to see the regular customers enjoying themselves. Everything I ordered additionally, including the sea urchin and salmon roe, was delicious, and I left feeling happy until the very end.

When I entered the sushi restaurant in the town that I had been curious about for a long time, a calm atmosphere that felt steeped in history spread out before me. Sitting at the counter, the chef casually shared stories from the past, allowing me to relax immediately. The nigiri included red fish, steamed shrimp, marinated horse mackerel, and red clam, all with a perfect size of rice that made for a pleasant mouthfeel. The kanpyo roll, which I hadn't had in a long time, stood out with its sweetness and aroma, bringing a smile to my face. The appetizer of simmered squid and taro, as well as the clear soup, were all carefully prepared, and their gentle flavors touched my heart. When I consulted about the toppings, the chef responded as much as possible, making me excited just imagining what I should order next.
