Located in a highway parking area food court, this shop allows for easy access with ticket purchasing. The rice bowl ordered is grilled after being coated with a special sauce, and finished with a sear, enhancing its aroma. The slowly simmered beef tendon is very tender, and mixing in a soft-boiled egg and wasabi adds a delightful change in flavor. The seafood chirashi I had on another day also featured plump ingredients, and the slightly sweet sauce paired excellently with the wasabi. Pouring dashi over it midway makes it easy to eat, and adding yuzu pepper gives a refreshing aftertaste. Thanks to the well-stocked condiments counter and the friendly staff, I experienced a level of satisfaction that was unexpected for a service area.
