A heartwarming yakitori and delicious oden hideaway

Located in Oita City's Otemachi, Doburo is a cozy yakitori specialty shop that offers a relaxing atmosphere. The interior features only counter seating, creating a homely vibe. The carefully grilled skewers and surprisingly delicious oden are all seasoned to enhance the natural flavors of the ingredients. Takeout is also available, making it a casual spot to enjoy the deliciousness of yakitori.

This is a cozy yakitori restaurant centered around the counter, where you can relax and spend time. The skewers, including negima (chicken and green onion), skin, tsukune (chicken meatballs), pork belly, sand liver, cartilage, and thick fried tofu, are carefully grilled, and the rich sauce is not overpowering, which I prefer. They are bite-sized and easy to eat, making you want to keep reaching for more. The oden (Japanese hot pot) is well-infused with broth, and I was satisfied with the beef tendon, burdock tempura, eggs, and shirataki noodles. The small plates on the blackboard are also enjoyable, with memorable items like yam and tuna, mozuku seaweed, and kimchi tofu. I appreciate that they provide extra cabbage, and it's convenient that they accommodate takeout and shochu bottle keeping.
