A hidden gem to indulge in luxurious medicinal soup curry

Yakuzen Soup Curry 8,000,000 is a unique spot in Matsue where you can enjoy an unusual take on medicinal soup curry. Each visit, the rich aroma of spices envelops the restaurant, stimulating your appetite. You can choose between red and black soup curry, with the tender pork being a standout. A popular style is to generously squeeze lemon over the dish, especially with the red soup curry, which receives high praise.

You buy a meal ticket at the entrance and take a seat, and the explanations are easy to understand, which is reassuring. There is a menu that allows you to taste both the red and black soups at once, and the differences are clear and interesting. The red one has a strong spice flavor and warms you from the inside. The rice is a mix of ten grains, and you can have a refill, which is satisfying. Squeezing the accompanying lemon and dipping it in the soup makes it refreshing. Care has been taken to ensure that the pickles and curry do not cool down, and the spiced cola was also refreshing.

This is a place where you can thoroughly enjoy medicinal herbal soup curry. There are red and black soups, and it's delightful to be able to taste both varieties at once. You can choose from vegetables, pork, or chicken, and the pork had a tender, crumble-like texture. The spiciness is sharp, and the aroma of the spices warms the body. I also enjoyed the refreshing way of eating by squeezing lemon on the ten-grain rice and dipping it into the soup. The rice can be refilled, and I enjoyed it deliciously until the end.
