A homely diner with a wide selection of side dishes

Ueroku Shokudo is a self-service diner with a cozy atmosphere and a rich variety of side dishes. It offers a diverse range of options, allowing for balanced meals that incorporate healthy choices. The staff kindly warms up the dishes for you, creating a heartwarming experience that feels just like dining at home. The ambiance is also reminiscent of an izakaya, making it possible to enjoy a light drink late into the night.

Unlike other restaurants, the service is hygienic: after choosing a side dish and ordering rice, miso soup, etc., you are given a receipt while eating at the table. The rice large was delicious, and the grilled mackerel was surprisingly well-balanced between the sweetness of the fine fat and the saltiness of the mackerel. However, the okra stew was too soft and I felt the texture was lacking. The pork miso soup was thick, but the price is for reference only, so no details about the price. Next time I would like to try miso soup or oudon. Thank you for the meal!
