I am happy that it is open late and I can stop by whenever I feel like it. Upon entering, there is a counter, and further inside, there are tatami seating areas where I can relax. The craftsmen prepare the food right in front of me, and their attentiveness makes for a comfortable experience. The seasonal recommendations are easy to understand, and I usually ask for the highlights of the day. I was particularly impressed by the anago with its smoky flavor, the eggs with a wonderful dashi aroma, and the kohada with its exquisite balance of vinegar. The tuna, medium fatty tuna, sweet shrimp, and sea urchin also had a melting texture, and the size of the ingredients was just right.
