A beloved local soba shop with a long history

Tenkichi is a long-established soba shop rooted in the local community, situated in the charming streets of Sakai Town. The interior offers a cozy and calm atmosphere, where you can choose between cold and hot soba or udon, with many praising the exceptional soba-yu. This traditional establishment is cherished by local regulars and is definitely worth a visit.

The atmosphere of a calm, traditional soba restaurant wafts in from the entrance, allowing you to relax immediately. The fragrant soba can be enjoyed either hot or cold, depending on your mood for the day. The fluffy eel and anago rice bowls pair perfectly with the sweet and savory sauce, making it hard to put down your chopsticks. The set that allows you to enjoy both soba and rice bowl feels like a win, as both are worthy of being the main attraction. The shichimi on the table is surprisingly aromatic, and just a sprinkle enhances the depth of flavor. The atmosphere of a long-established restaurant and the carefully prepared dishes brought a smile to my face.
