A skewer specialty shop with warm, community-rooted service

Yakitori Daikichi is a renowned skewer shop that has been beloved in the area for over 10 years. The heartfelt service and meticulous cooking provide a pleasant experience for visitors. The hormone skewers, in particular, are mild in flavor, satisfying, and a favorite among many regulars. While the menu has few options beyond yakitori, this reflects the restaurant's commitment to quality and consistency.

When I felt like eating yakitori and casually stopped by, the cozy space with just a counter and a few tables was incredibly calming. The skewers, which start grilling after ordering, have a perfect balance whether with sauce or salt, and the richness of the fat was distinctly enjoyable. The unique skewers like 'Tears' topped with plenty of wasabi and 'Energy' with a garlic aroma were interesting, and I couldn't help but order more. The chicken skin with ponzu that came out first was warm and immediately lifted my spirits. The cabbage is free to refill, so munching on it in between made my mouth feel refreshed and encouraged me to drink more. Chatting with the friendly owner was also enjoyable, making it a wonderful place where I naturally ended up staying longer even on my first visit.
