A retro, moody kind of restaurant. I was already attracted to this place by the Yakiniku Master's review. So, let's hit it! The exterior of the restaurant is an old house. Take off your shoes to enter the restaurant. The inside of the restaurant looks retro? The lighting is dim and moody. It looks like it was made by adding two and dividing by two. We sat down on high chairs to start! First, order 5 dishes for 2,000 yen! For drinks this time, we had plum wine and aragoshimikan. Both are 500 yen! The first thing to arrive was a small plate of 8 different kinds of food! Kawachi duck roast Soaked garland chrysanthemum Kunitama (quail's egg) Anko (red bean curd) boiled green soybeans boiled green pepper and shishito pickled celery in soy sauce fried ginkgo nut You can have a little bit of each of the recommended items from the menu. It's better than ordering individual items! I think it is especially suitable for women! The duck is moist, the liver is rich, and the quail egg is delicious! The pickled celery in soy sauce was delicious, even though I don't like celery! The second dish was pickled mackerel in vinegared sauce! The moist pickled mackerel goes well with the sweetness of the betara! If you like kizushi, you may find the shime-saba weak. It was so delicious that my companion gave it to me. The third dish was olive-roasted Akaza prawns and croquettes with potato salad! The prawns are very sweet and delicious! The miso paste on the head was even better when you suck on it! They made croquettes out of potato salad! When you eat it, it's potato salad! Interesting! The fourth dish was confit ayu fish! Full of roe and deliciously petite! What is it about fish roe that makes it so delicious? The fifth dish was grilled lamb with sansho and chestnuts boiled in astringent skin! Lamb, no smell, well cooked and delicious! Sometimes, I like the spicy taste of sansho... Chestnut stewed in astringent skin next to the lamb is already dessert! They are so soft and sweet! 2,000 yen for these five dishes is a bargain! Additional dashimaki tamago (rolled egg): 500 yen. The dashimaki tamago was very light, with not much broth! Dessert: basil ice cream! It was so refreshing and delicious! I want to take this home with me! It takes a little time to serve, so if you're in a hurry, this may not be the place for you! However, they are very elaborate, and it's nice to be able to eat a little bit at a time for 2,000 yen! I wish the part-timers would learn how to serve drinks and serve at the right time. But I would like to go there again! I thought it was nice to have a relaxing dinner once in a while!
