A very satisfying course featuring Puerta's popular menu
Cataplana can be ordered for two servings or more. It takes time to prepare, so please be patient. This magical pot can create delicious dishes all on its own. The 'Cataplana pot,' passed down through generations in the Algarve region of southern Portugal, is a unique copper pot shaped like a disc. Its structure combines two hemispheres, trapping the umami of the ingredients and cooking them very quickly. Since it cooks without losing the flavor of the ingredients, the seasoning is simple. When it is brought to the table and the lid is opened, you can hear everyone's cheers; it is a 'hospitality pot.'
