When you sit at the counter, you are welcomed by the cheerful owner and the head chef, and you can settle in right away. The appetizers change daily, and it's fun to start with items like chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) and roast beef. The cold tofu and sashimi are served smoothly, making them easy to snack on. The fluffy dashimaki tamago (Japanese omelette) has a strong dashi flavor and provides a sense of satisfaction. The simmered carp is gently sweet and not heavy, and even a generous portion doesn't stop you from eating. In a homely and comfortable atmosphere, there are regular customers, and the conversation flows, making the warm hospitality very comforting.
