It's a shop located in an alley, and upon entering, there's an L-shaped counter that feels cozy. Just looking at the menu that spans an entire wall is exciting. The specialty, doten stew, is simmered to perfection, and you can really taste the umami. The freshly fried flounder is fluffy, and it's best enjoyed with salt. The squid sashimi and crab miso, as well as the nanban-zuke (sweet and sour pickled vegetables), pair well with sake. Even though there are many regulars, it feels comfortable for first-timers as well, and you can enjoy conversations that are soothing.
