A cozy sushi restaurant with over 40 years of history

Yagura Sushi is located in the heart of Tottori City and has been loved by locals for over 40 years. The warm interior creates a pleasant atmosphere that puts visitors at ease. The premium nigiri made with fresh local fish and the gentle-tasting crab soup are unforgettable once you try them. This is a heartwarming spot you definitely want to visit when in Tottori.

As I opened the door, I was greeted by a white wooden counter and a shining display case, and a calm atmosphere spread around. The chef and the owner welcomed me warmly, allowing me to sit down without feeling nervous, even though it was my first time. The horse mackerel that was caught that day had a firm texture, and its sweetness spread with every bite. The local representative flounder had a refined white flesh, harmonizing very well with the rice. The slightly pink flesh of the wild yellowtail had a robust flavor that made me want to order another piece. Even the finishing red miso soup showed careful craftsmanship, and I thoroughly enjoyed the charm of this neighborhood sushi shop.
