A heartwarming traditional-style soba restaurant

Shikada-an is a charming traditional-style restaurant known for its exquisite soba that soothes the soul with every bite. The intricate interior design combined with warm hospitality creates a comforting atmosphere that allows you to relax each time you visit. The soba, known for its strong texture, and the crispy maitake tempura are particularly popular, while the rich bonito broth enhances the flavor of the soba even further. The thoughtful service adds to the experience, making it a place you’ll want to return to.

The interior of the restaurant is moist and conveys the charm of its age. The staff's response is gentle, making it a comfortable place to be. The udon noodles are smooth and chewy, providing a pleasant texture. The soba noodles are thin and have a nice bite, pairing well with the fragrant dipping broth. The vegetable tempura is lightly fried, allowing the aroma of the maitake mushrooms to be enjoyed. The small side dish and the thoughtful touch of black candy were also delightful, making me feel warm and cozy.
