Each sweet potato from Oita Prefecture, called 'Beniharuka', is carefully washed, steamed with the skin on in a steam kettle, then further baked in a pot to bring out the sweetness. A special sweet bean paste made with butter and egg yolks is wrapped in a separate dough, placed in a mold, and slowly baked to create a 'realistic and more delicious sweet potato dessert'.
A rich pudding made with Jersey milk from Aso Koguni, accented with a slightly bitter caramel sauce. Sandwiched with custard cream in a fluffy pancake-style dorayaki skin.
A dorayaki made with carefully cooked and kneaded Hokkaido-grown azuki beans, 'Ogura', which has been protected since the founding of the company, sandwiched between fluffy baked dorayaki skin with added honey. This is Kikuya's proud dorayaki.
A baked confectionery that wraps red bean paste mixed with crushed walnuts in pie dough. The 'Bondia' is characterized by the fragrant flavor of butter, the texture of walnuts, and a rich taste that is not too sweet. It was created in 1978 to commemorate the sister city relationship between the city of Aviero in Portugal and Oita. 'Bondia' means 'good morning' or 'have a nice day' in Portuguese.
