Upon entering a small prefab-style building, a kind couple welcomes you. The menu is limited to items like sashimi and simmered fish, but you can feel the care that goes into their preparation. The sashimi is served on a bed of shredded cabbage, giving it a unique appearance, and the freshness is definitely noticeable. The simmered fish is infused with a sweet and savory sauce, reminding you of traditional home-cooked flavors. They use Nagasa rice for the meal, which is fluffy and pairs perfectly with the fish. It was also nice to be waved goodbye after the meal, making for a heartwarming dining experience.
