The oden has a softness that makes the daikon, egg, and chikuwa-bu crumble easily, and the broth is well-infused, making it the best. The hearty tonjiru (pork soup) is flavored with ginger, served hot, and its umami spreads throughout. The homemade shumai and dashimaki, along with the handmade nukazuke (pickled vegetables) and rakkyo (pickled shallots), have a gentle taste that pairs perfectly with alcohol. For lunch, there are set meals like grilled fish, shumai, and tonjiru oden, making it fun to choose.
