Kamishima is an izakaya that exudes a hidden gem atmosphere, located just a short walk from the station. It specializes in dishes made with fresh seafood, ensuring that every visitor is filled with the joy of food. The chef personally sources the ingredients, which are highly regarded. It is close to the station and easy to stop by. The seafood is fresh, and the sashimi has a variety that is exciting. You can also enjoy fugu and fresh shirauo, which have a pleasant umami and slight bitterness. The fried firefly squid, potato dumplings, and tempura mozuku are also fragrant and my favorites. The ikura rice has a poppy texture, making it perfect for the end of the meal. The staff is friendly, and their subtle assistance with the menu is helpful.
