The counter has a few seats in a calm space, and there is a small raised area in the back that makes it comfortable. The relaxed conversations with the knowledgeable owner are enjoyable, and I often end up staying longer than planned. It's a place where you can savor the rich atmosphere typical of Kawabata, and I want to recommend it to both locals and travelers. The rare fish that occasionally appears on the menu is very delicious and exciting. The grilled chicken with aromatic seasoning has a crispy skin and a savory flavor, showing that it is made with care. The appetizers like chrysanthemum and oden have a gentle taste that soothes the mood.
