Alcohol by Volume: 5.0%; International Bittering Units: 28; Color: Amber. Back to our roots, back to the trail. Our journey began in 1989 when the first batch of Long Trail Ale® was released under the Mountain Brewers moniker. Inspired by Vermont's 273-mile walking path, we're going back to the trail with our updated packaging, paying homage to our Green Mountain roots, with inspiration from the trail and all the miles we've come in the past 30 years. Grab some cans, pack a bag, hike on and celebrate the look that inspired our journey. Long Trail Ale® is a full-bodied amber ale brewed with our top fermenting house yeast that yields a clean, complex flavor. Our flagship brew has weaved its way into the Vermont landscape and become as much a Green Mountain tradition as the 273 miles of the Long Trail itself. Plenty has changed since the first batch rolled off the line, but one thing remains constant, Long Trail Ale's® presence at ski hills, cookouts and get-togethers all over the East Coast
Alcohol by Volume: 6.5; Color: Golden Haze. Juic'd Hazy IPA starts the party with heaps of hefty hop character from a powerful punch of Idaho 7, Galaxy, and mosaic hops. This combination of Southern and Northern Hemisphere drops mouthwatering notes of citrus, stone fruit, orange and tropical fruit into this super smooth, hazy IPA
Alcohol by Volume: 6.0; International Bittering Units: 30; Color: Golden Haze. Our take on the hazy, hoppy style coming from the green mountains. We're beyond excited to see VT IPA ranked at #25 in Paste Magazine's recent review of 324 blind-tasted IPAs. Here's a small sample of their review: "...man, they got it right with this one—what one taster's sheet refers to as a" tropical juice explosion" immediately washes over the palate with big notes of sweet pineapple, mango and orange, followed by a certain bready maltiness. Soft, low in terms of bitterness and generally uncomplicated, it's simply a very good example of why so many people enjoy NE-IPA." Our brewers developed this recipe for more than a year; playing around with yeast strains and hop combinations in search of a smooth, juicy offering that pleases palates. With VT IPA they found the perfect balance of tropical fruit and citrus flavors through a heavy dry-hopping of Citra and Amarillo hops, which give distinct tangerine, mango, pineapple and grapefruit character. The juicy hop profile is complemented by the grist, which features a heavy hand of flaked oats and aromatic Munich malt to deliver a smooth mouthfeel and hazy appearance. What sets this beer apart --aside from the soft bitterness-- is the introduction of a new yeast strain that provides the beer with more neutral notes and juicy esters that enhance the hops. Enjoy it fresh, enjoy it often

A big, mouth-watering IPA, brimming with all the flavors and aromas of the new breed of hops coming from Australia and the Pacific Northwest. Limbo® IPA is the first year-round Long Trail offering to be born out of our new Farmhouse Pilot Brewery. We had such great success with the IPAs coming out of our Pilot facility (in both our "Farmhouse Ales" - brewery only - and "Brown Bag" - regionally distributed, draught-only) that we decided to release Limbo® IPA, in package and draught, year-round. When we launched Brown Bag in 2012, a web page dedicated to customer feedback was put online. After experiencing the first IPA in the series, one customer's email remarked, "You'd better not leave me sitting here in Limbo until you decide to brew some of your new IPA's year-round. "And so became Limbo. At 80 IBU's, we knew this Australian & West Coast hopped IPA warranted packaging that was equally as bold, so we broke the Long Trail mold and went to some unchartered territory. The package graphics and tap handles are like nothing we have ever done before and are sure to turn some heads. Limbo six packs will have a special die-cut design to showcase the artwork. The bottle will feature unique crowns with artwork on both sides. This style of IPA is something we have heard our customers screaming for and our Brewers have hit this recipe out of the park
Alcohol by Volume: 5.4%; International Bittering Units: 30; Color: Golden. Summer Seasonal. Introducing our newly re-imagined seasonal selection; inspired by Electric Boogaloo, a small-batch brewery-only release developed on our pilot system. This brand new Summer Ale recipe is a palate-pleasing, hazy golden ale featuring waves of juicy, fruit-filled hop flavors from Cashmere, Mandarina Bavaria and Amarillo. Look for it in our new Survival Packs alongside the exclusive Survival Pack IPA #3, our flagship Long Trail Ale and the crushable Long Trail Lager, or in standalone sixers
Alcohol by Volume: 4.4%; International Bittering Units: 18; Color: Auburn. Fall Seasonal. New look, same darn tasty beer you've come to expect from Long Trail. We mark the end of summer with the release our seasonal brown ale, Harvest. Vermont maple syrup added during the brewing process yields a lasting sweetness on the palate that's guaranteed to warm your soul alongside the rich, chocolate profile and earthy hop character of this classic American brown ale. Raise a glass and enjoy the spirit of the season. Pairs well with leaf-peeping, foliage hikes and splittin' wood
Alcohol by Volume: 6.5; Color: Golden Haze. We're Hopping Mad About This IPA. Hit The Trail returns in six-packs and 12-packs of 12oz. cans and in our brand new all-can Survival Pack
Alcohol by Volume: 11%; International Bittering Units: 65; Color: Dark Amber. Returning from pasture in December 2017, this homegrown and rugged ale features a growing-season's worth of malts and a balanced, down-home flavor. Triple Bag is a small-batch beer brewed from a single infusion that uses only the first running of the mash. The resulting brew contains only the purest part of the grains, which yields a uniquely rich, dense flavor. At 11% ABV, this brew is an example of brewing purity that is rarely experience by those other than brewers themselves. Want More? Get yer hands on a barrel aged version available exclusively in Bridgewater Corners before too long

Alcohol by Volume: 5.2%; International Bittering Units: 18. Only 30 cases of 750ml bottles available at the Long Trail Brewery, with some draft mixed in. Take A Hike! to our booth at the Vermont Brewers Festival to give it a taste!
Alcohol by Volume: 6.0%; International Bittering Units: 48; Color: Deep Golden. Brewed in the spirit of Flyin Ryan Hawks, a Vermont freeskier who passed away during a competition in 2011. In celebration of Ryan's kind heart and free spirit, we put a spin on this year's recipe, adding an untracked amount of Simcoe, Amarillo and Galaxy dry hops to deliver an extremely juicy American IPA experience. First introduced as a limited, draught-only offering in Winter 2014-15, Flyin Ryan IPA is now available in delcious 16oz. cans throughout New England and New York
Alcohol by Volume: 8.0%; International Bittering Units: 70; Color: Pale Gold. Over The Handlebars, our super limited Double IPA, features classic heavy hop aromas of citrus, pine, fresh cut grass and passionfruit. The fresh lupulin powder provides tons of citrus and tangerine flavors. Or, as Ian puts it: "Kind of like Tang for adults." So, besides the name -- which pays homage to our thirst for two-wheel adventure -- what sets this beer apart from our other hop-filled offerings? Over the Handlebars is the first beer we've created with lupulin powder, a brand new, concentrated hop product from Yakima-based hop growers, YCH Hops. Before we get too far, let's back up and explain what exactly lupulin is... Lupulin refers to the yellowish powder found on the hairs beneath the flowers of female hop plants. In short, lupulin is the active ingredient of hops, which contains the resins and oils that deliver the flavors and aromas that people are looking for in their modern IPAs. With lupulin powder, the resins and oils are concentrated and accentuated, allowing the flavor to shine bright. Our brew crew scored some Simcoe and Cascade powder, which they used in the dry-hopping to deliver super clean tropical and citrus flavors that come across more clearly -- and less bitter -- than pellets or whole-leaf hops. Only a handful of brewers are using lupulin powder, so we' re uber excited about Over the Handlebars. Make sure to throw an extra high five at the production and retail teams who have been hand-stickering these face smashing cans. Over the Handlebars DIPA is scarcely available in 4-packs of 16oz. cans
Alcohol by Volume: 6.0; Color: Deep Gold. We hopped in the lift line with iconic Vermont brand SKI THE EAST to create this mountain-inspired IPA with a knee-deep dose of papaya, stone fruit and pine notes from Idaho 7 and Mosaic hops and a dusting of malty mogul flavor for those who want to keep the shred alive. SKI THE EAST was born from ice in 2005 with a mission to create apparel, media and events that inspired the East Coast's tight-knit winter sports community. We' re a breed apart and there's a special camaraderie know a 4" storm qualifies as a powder day or that ice just makes you go faster.
First released at the 2019 Boston Ski Show, this Vermont collaboration is coming to the Green Mountains for the first time beginning February 7th at the Long Trail Brewery in Bridgewater Corners. Four-packs of 16oz. cans will be available at our brewery first and at select locations around Vermont to follow
